Grants Specialist, Office of Grants & Research in South Orange
Under the supervision of the Compliance, Grants and Grants Information Systems Manager, the core work is with faculty and university personnel to develop proposals for grants and contracts for research, teaching and education; responsible for proactive outreach and pre-award support, budget development, consistent application of the Office of Grants & Research Services (OGRS) policies and knowledge and use of grant systems locally and in funding agencies for grant application/subcontract processing and review. The office is part of the Provost's Office and closely works and cooperates with Corporate and Foundation Relations, Grants Accounting and other academic functions, and will perform the core work functions with those units as well, representing OGRS. Supports the Director and Grants and Grants Information Systems Manager with projects as assigned and assists in the work of support through the entire life cycle of grants.

Assistant Director of Contracts Administration in South Orange
The Assistant Director of Contracts Administration provides leadership, governance, and operational oversight in contract lifecycle management, driving efficiency, risk mitigation, and strategic vendor engagement at Seton Hall University. Reporting to the Director of Procurement, this role strengthens contract oversight, optimizes approval workflows, and enhances policy adherence across procurement operations. This position is responsible for developing and implementing best-in-class contracting policies, approval structures, and compliance frameworks to align contract administration with institutional priorities. Collaboration is essential, requiring strong strategic partnerships with colleagues in Procurement, Legal, Finance, and business owners/end users. The purpose of this position is to drive efficiency, reduce risk, and advance procurement’s role as a strategic enabler of Seton Hall’s mission and a steward of its resources. Pursuant to this purpose, the Assistant Director of Contracts Administration may be required to perform transactional duties surrounding requisition processing and supplier onboarding. Aligning with Seton Hall’s Adapt ‘25 initiative, this role transforms contract governance and operational efficiency through standardized templates, automation, and integrated contract tracking, reinforcing procurement’s ability to manage institutional obligations effectively.

The Leadership Giving Officer (LGO) plays a significant role in increasing philanthropic support for Seton Hall’s Law School. The LGO qualifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards individuals living locally and out of state who have the capacity to make gifts of $5k to $25K. The LGO’s portfolio may be focused on specific prospect constituencies including alumni and parents, geographic regions, and/or institutional priorities including financial aid, scholarships, capital projects, and other priorities of the Law School. Admissions Counselor in South Orange
Those who work in this entry level role will be responsible for all front-line customer services including communication related to the Admissions process of Seton Hall University. The Admissions Counselor will be responsible for receiving and delivering all electronic, voice and in-person related information pertaining to the inquiry application and enrollment processes of the Office of Admissions. The Admissions Counselor will be responsible for assessing the customer service provided by the Office of Admissions and suggesting ways to enhance the services provided. Additionally, this position will be responsible for meeting with and speaking to students and families, specifically in terms of the application process, decision process, and financial aid process. The Admissions Counselor will make decisions on the applications of students when necessary and will be well-versed in the enrollment process to better assist prospective students in their application/financial aid review. Additionally, this position will be responsible for providing daily information sessions to campus visitors prior to taking a tour as well as conducting interviews of prospective students. They may also be responsible for providing tours. The Admissions Counselor will need to be customer service oriented with a strong desire to work with others. The Admissions Counselor should also be available to work some weekend and evening events throughout a recruitment cycle.

Weekend Circulation Clerk in South Orange
This position provides essential customer service and staffing at the Walsh Library circulation desk and critical operations support within the Access Services unit during weekend hours, performing routine library functions (check out; check in; catalog search; account review, etc.) and clerical duties related to the circulation, retrieval, and organization of library materials using various computer systems. Assists in processing interlibrary loan and resource sharing requests for SHU Library patrons and partner libraries borrowing materials from SHU. Provides guidance and direction to library student workers. Monitors and reports building and maintenance issues. This position is designated as an essential employee and will be expected to staff the library during inclement weather conditions.
